Today and always, We express our gratitude to Veterans and their families for their courage and sacrifices. Our team was deeply moved by the stories shared by Soldiers Scott and Dane at the Carl's Four Wheel Drive & Performance Center Standin' Proud Veterans Tribute. Their bravery and experiences left a lasting impact on us as shared in the team's weekly journal comments below, thank you for your time and service.
Wednesday, we went to Carl’s Four-Wheel Drive in Bartelso. This is not the business visit I was expecting, at all. We walked through their memorial museum, watched videos, and listened to speakers. For me, the piece of information I took from this visit isn't business related necessarily. I learned that we need to appreciate everything that we have, and we need to remember those who made our freedom possible. I really enjoyed this visit. - Reid Koch
I left Carl's with a new perspective knowing that I have the opportunities I have because of all of the soldiers who fought for our country, including my grandpa who passed away due to heart problems starting in Vietnam. - Ava Becker
Then one of my favorite days of CEO was Carl's Four Wheel Drive I think just being in that space where there's so much tragedy and honor really made listening to their two vets reach out to me a lot more. - Tate Miller
Wednesday we went to Carl's Four Wheel Drive. I feel like this was different than any business visit we’ve ever had. It was a very emotional visit. I feel the way that they were very passionate about the veterans and making sure that they were remembered and people were educated on them was very neat. It was extremely cool to get to speak to a couple of the veterans and meet them and to see how their lives are now I think the most important thing I learned from there is we have to be thankful for what we have that there were people who did things for us, and because of them were able to be where we are today and that we should honor them for what they did for us.- Jada Howell
